Pakistan's Quetta ripped apart by second blast in 3 days, 13 hurt

Follow UsAnother blast ripped through Pakistan’s Quetta outside Al Khair hospital only two days after an Islamic State and Taliban-claimed suicide bombing at the Quetta hospital killed more than 70 on August 8.
So far, 13 have been injured, including four members of security forces, according to Reuters as a loud explosion was heard at Zarghon Road near a private hospital in Pakistan today.
Home minster Safaraz Bugti said, "It was a remote control device with 3-4kgs of explosives. These kinds of cowardly acts will not reduce our morale."
Initial reports suggest the injured in today’s blast and they have been rushed to the civil hospital. The security establishment has cordoned off the area around the site of the blast.
The Dawn reports that causalities are feared and several people have also been injured in the blast, which shattered the windows of many buildings nearby.
Rescue teams have reached the scene and the injured are being shifted to a nearby hospital and security forces are on the scene and collecting evidence.
Meanwhile, the police are still trying to confirm the source and nature of the blast.
