Traders from Pakistan have demanded an Afghan border point to be reopened. The route was closed last week following a deadly clash between both the sides.

According to reports, Pakistani traders have suffered setbacks in their business ever since the border point was closed after last Sunday's clash at the Laka Tega border post.

Workers and labourers have been sitting idle, watching their wares and produce spoil owing to the shutdown.

The clash killed five Pakistani paramilitary soldiers. According to Pakistan's foreign ministry, the incident was addressed through "diplomatic and military channels."
