Indian authorities on Sunday nabbed two Pakistan High Commission officials, working in the visa section, red-handed in Delhi's Karol Bagh while trying to source sensitive document in an act of espionage. This resulted in India declaring them persona non grata.
The authorities also recovered a fake Aadhar card by the name of Nazir Gotam, resident of Geeta colony, and two Apple iPhone mobile phones and Rs 15,000 in cash.

"The Delhi Police have detained two Pakistan High Commission staff members for espionage-related activities. Two visa assistants Abid Hussain and Tahir Khan work as visa assistants and are ISI operatives," officials said.
Abid Hussain Abid, 42, and Tahir Khan, 44, had arrived in a Pakistani diplomatic car.
The car in fact had its windshield broken during the operation. Details that emerged later showed that the Pakistan High Commission was in the process of selling the car.
WION was the first portal to break the story on Sunday evening and had also reported how they had roamed around with fake Indian identities.
