One civilian, 4 suicide bombers killed in attack on Peshawar's Christian Colony
Follow UsOne civilian and four suicide bombers were killed after gunmen wearing bomb-vests attacked Peshawar's Christian Colony early on Friday morning, the Dawn reported.
A gunbattle ensued between security forces and the attackers at around 6 am, security sources told the Dawn.
Director General, Inter-Services Intelligence, Public Relations, Asim Bajwa tweeted about the operation.

The colony lies close to the Pak-Afghan border and the Warsak dam.
Explosions were reportedly heard in the area, an eyewitness claimed, and a helicopter was seen surveilling the area.
The area has reportedly been cordoned off. Contingents of police, Frontier Corps, and Pakistan Army commandos have been deployed in the area and an operation is ongoing, reported the Dawn.
