Pakistan's Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain on Friday announced that a Pahstun rally will be conducted on May 13 in Karachi and has expressed hope that it will be a successful one.

"Two days from now, on May 13, 2018, we are going to hold a rally for the Pashtuns. I appeal to all oppressed nations (including Mohajirs and Balouchs) to fully participate in the PTM public assembly in Karachi. I am also hopeful that almost everyone will take part in it," Altaf Hussain said, in a video message, broadcast from London.

"People who have locomotion issues and cannot work are the only ones who are allowed to stay back at homes. Rest, I am expecting a massive participation to make this rally an enormous success," he added.

The MQM Chief has also warned the Pakistani administration not to create hurdles and interfere with the rally.
