The incident has raised questions on the Imran Khan-led government's commitment towards resolving Indo-Pak ties and clamming down on terrorism.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan's cabinet minister, Noor Ul Haq Qadri, was spotted sharing the stage with Lashkar-e-Taiba chief and 26/11 Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed on Sunday at an event in Islamabad.

According to reports, Qadri, who is the Minister of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony in Imran Khan's government, was seen seated at the stage where terror mastermind Hafiz Saeed was also sitting.

The incident has raised questions on the Imran Khan-led government's commitment towards resolving Indo-Pak ties and clamming down on terrorism.

The incident comes shortly after Union External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, exposed Pakistan's duplicity on terror at the United Nations on Saturday.

At the 73rd United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Saturday, Swaraj said, "Our neighbour's expertise is not restricted to spawning grounds for terrorism; it is also an expert in trying to mask malevolence with verbal duplicity."

Swaraj lashed out at Islamabad for abetting and aiding terrorist and terrorist groups.

"Pakistan's commitment to terrorism as an instrument of official policy has not abated one bit," she added.

Pakistani PM Imran Khan had sought a meeting between Indian External Affairs Minister and Pakistan's Foreign Minister Qureshi on the sidelines of UNGA. India had initially agreed to the talks but declined over the recent killing of jawans at the border.
