A bomb explosion in Afghanistan's Laghman province on Sunday led to injuries of at least eleven civilians on Sunday.

The injured includes five woman, two children and four men.

The injured people have been moved to the hospital for treatment.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion and have deployed a team at the explosion site.

Though the province is comparatively peaceful in the country, Taliban militants and Islamic State are active in few remote parts of the province.

The United Nations recently expressed concern and outrage over the frequent terror attacks in the country.

Twin suicide blasts, claimed by the ISIS, in the Afghan capital Kabul killed 25 people, including 10 journalists earlier this week.
