Yearender 2021: Paris Hilton to Varun Dhawan- A look back at beautiful celebrity weddings

The year 2021 is nearing its end and this year there were some surprise and some predicted weddings of our favourite celebs. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, many celebrities chose to keep their big day away from the media glare and said their 'I do's' in a low-key fashion. 

From Paris Hilton & Carter Reum's glitzy wedding to Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao's intimate wedding, here's the list of all the stars — from Hollywood to Bollywood — who have tied the knot so far in 2021.

Paris Hilton got married to entrepreneur Carter Reum in a star-studded ceremony on November 11. The ceremony was a lavish affair at her late grandfather’s Bel-Air estate. The couple announced their engagement in February this year after dating for more than a year. 

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani tied the knot on July 4th Weekend. The couple got married in an intimate ceremony and exchanged vows at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch at a chapel that Shelton built specially for the wedding. Stefani, 51, and Shelton, 45,  began dating in 2015 after meeting as coaches on the music reality show 'The Voice.' Back then the two were newly divorced.

Bollywood stars Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa had a low-key wedding in Chandigarh, India on November 15. The two had been dating for 11 years and were living in together for the past few years.  

The couple had an intimate wedding in Chandigarh in a luxury resort that had select friends and family in attendance. Actors Huma Qureshi, Saqib Saleem, Aditi Rao Hydari reportedly represented the film industry at the do. 

 

Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai got married to the Pakistani human rights campaigner Asser Malik on November 10, in an intimate ceremony that took place at her home in Britain. Along with her family, some of Malala's friends too were part of the ceremony.

Bollywood producer and fashion stylist Rhea Kapoor tied the knot with filmmaker Karan Boolani in an intimate ceremony on August 14. Rhea and Karan dated for over a decade. The private affair took place at Rhea's father, actor Anil Kapoor's residence in Mumbai with selected guests in attendance. 

‘Emily in Paris’ star Lily Collins tied the knot with beau Charlie McDowell in a secret wedding in September this year. Lily shared some pictures from her stunning wedding on Instagram, Lily looked right out of a fairytale in her pristine white gown as she smiled with partner McDowell. 

The actress captioned the pics: “I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife. On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell…⁣ Photo by: @cedarandpines.''

The most simple wedding of the year! Yami Gautam tied the knot with director Aditya Dhar in a low-key wedding in Himachal Pradesh on June 4. 

Varun Dhawan tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Natasha Dalal at The Mansion House in Alibaugh earlier this year.  Varun took to his Instagram page to share breathtaking photos of his bride and him. ''Life long love just became official," he wrote in the caption.

 

Bollywood actor and environmentalist Dia Mirza tied the knot with businessman Vaibhav Rekhi in February this year. The ceremony was a private event at Bell Air Apartments in Bandra West, Mumbai. 

This is the second marriage for both Dia and Vaibhav.Dia was earlier married to film producer-director Sahil Sangha. The couple parted ways back in 2019, after being together for 11 years.

Dreamy wedding! Ariana Grande got hitched to beau Dalton Gomez on May 15. The pop star and Dalton Gomez, have said their “I do's” in a “tiny and intimate” wedding ceremony held at their home in Montecito, California.
