From hunter to conservationist
Edward James Corbett was a British hunter, turned conservationist, author and naturalist. He tracked and shot a large number of man-eating leopards and tigers. Corbett stood up to protect India's wildlife and advocated in creating a national reserve for the endangered Bengal tiger.
