A shootout in a school in Texas has left at least 19 children dead. The incident has cast a shadow in the city of Uvalde in Texas. The 18-year-old gunman, a high school student was killed by a police officer but not before causing more that a dozen deaths.

Two officials of US Border Patrol were shot during exchange of fire with the gunman. Media reports suggest that both of them are in stable condition.
