Here are some of the highlights of events that happened around the world this week.

Over 40 CRPF personnel were killed when a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorist rammed a vehicle carrying over massive explosives into their bus on Srinagar-Jammu national highway on Thursday at around 3.15 pm at Ladhu Modi Lethpora.

The convoy consisted of 78 buses in which around 2,500 CRPF personnel were travelling from Jammu to Srinagar.

Trump has repeatedly argued Russia had no sway over him because he had no business dealings there, as he seeks to deflect suggestions his campaign colluded with Russian meddling in the 2016 election. 

After Cohen changed his story, Trump acknowledged his right-hand man had pursued a deal with the Russians well into 2016, but insisted there was nothing wrong with seeking business opportunities while running for office.

Court filings have since revealed that negotiations continued even longer than Cohen had admitted, through October or even November 2016.
 

The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the postponement of Nigeria elections hours before polls were due to open at 0700 GMT, blaming logistical difficulties.

Jaish al Adl (Army of Justice), a militant Sunni Muslim group, which says it seeks greater rights and better living conditions for the ethnic minority Baluchis, has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Thailand's Constitutional Court announced on Thursday it will consider a ban on Thai Raksa Chart party that nominated princess for prime minister, raising the prospect of a further setback for opposition chances in a general election.

The party, which is linked to ousted populist prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, sparked an uproar last week when it nominated as its candidate for prime minister if it wins a March 24 election, Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi, the king's older sister.
