Emmys 2019: The best dressed stars on the red carpet

The 2019 Emmys red carpet was packed with pretty pastels, sparkling sequins and a surprising abundance. Some of the biggest stars of Hollywood stepped out on the Emmy purple carpet on Sunday night in a stunning display of gowns and vivacious looks. 

'Game of Thrones' star Emilia Clarke looked gorgeous as she arrived wearing Valentino with David Web jewels.

Singer Halsey wore a wow-worthy dress for the 2019 Emmy Awards. Halsey looked like a real-life princess when she stepped out on Sunday night. 

Sophie Turner looks stunning in a pink Louis Vuitton dress and diamond necklace at the 2019 Emmys.

Best actress nominee,Viola Davis, brought the A-list glamour to the red carpet with her monochrome Alberta Ferretti dress and Forevermark jewels.

Heidi Gardner  'Saturday Night Live' star looks charming and sweet in this whimsical green floral dress.

'Game of Thrones' star Maisie Williams looked fantastic in a vampy black dress with embellished shoes. Maisie’s black asymmetrical dress was a custom design by Reuben Selby and was made by JW Anderson.

Zendaya's one-shoulder asymmetric silk charmeuse gown by Vera Wang turned heads at the red carpet. The dress had a sheer corset detail and a hip-high slit. She completed her look with diamond drop earrings and a show-stopping statement diamond bracelet on her left wrist.

The 2019 Emmys saw Steven Canals in a shimmering suit, jacket covered in sequins that extended into two trails.

Catherine Zeta-Jones looked flawless in a draping, hot pink gown which wrapped around her shoulders in a unique and sexy cut. She paired the outfit with matching pink heels and drop earrings and wore her hair up tied.

Joey King was up for her first-ever Emmy award. The 20-year-old stepped out wearing a deep red, strapless Zac Posen ball gown complete with a bow in the back.
