Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas: Their story so far

From being set together by mutual friends to getting married in Vegas, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have sure come a long way. As their wedding day draws closer and they get ready to say "I Do!'' one more time this year, let us take a walk down the memory lane and see how it all began. 

Rumours of Joe Jonas dating Sophie Turner started making rounds in 2016 when they were spotted getting cozy at a concert before the 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards. It was reported that Joe Jonas had his arm around Sophie throughout the show and they were later seen kissing.

In December 2016, the couple visited Sophie's family in London and were seen having a traditional pub lunch with them. Even though they were keeping their relationship under wraps at that time, it was evident that they had eyes only for each other.

The duo finally seemed to make their relationship Instagram official in January 2017 when Sophie shared a picture of Joe smoking a cigar on a boat in Miami. From here on, they were seen spending more and more time together. 

Sophie and Joe were seen leaving the airport in France hand-in-hand in March 2017. The couple were there to attend the Paris Fashion Week and looked good enough to walk the runway themselves.

In September, Sophie and Joe took the next step in their relationship as they decided to expand their family and adopt an adorable husky puppy together. They named him Porky Basquiat and were seen together walking him through the streets of New York.

Inspired by 'Toy Story', the couple got matching tattoos in the early days of October in 2017. Joe's inking read 'To infinity,' while Sophie's completed the famous phrase, reading '& beyond'.

Less than a year since they started dating, the couple got engaged on 15th October 2017. When she was asked making such a huge commitment at such an young age, Sophie said, "I think once you've found the right person, you just know."

Joe and Sophie (popularly called Jophie) looked glamorous at Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' wedding in December 2018. The couple also shook a leg at the Sangeet along with other members of the family.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas spent the Christmas after Priyanka-Nick's wedding in England where both their families were present. Priyanka Chopra's mother and their close friends too attended the Christmas dinner which was held in Warwick.

When the 'Jonas brothers' got back together in March 2019 and released their comeback single 'Sucker', they also recruited their better halves for the music video. Sophie, Danielle and Priyanka were seen sunbathing and hosting lavish dinner parties in the song.

Joe Jonas accompanied his lady love to the premiere of the final season of 'Game of Thrones'. Joe even posted a cheeky picture in which Sophie was seen hugging her on-screen fiance, Jack Gleeson, leaving Joe stunned.

The J-sisters (what Sophie, Priyanka and Danielle like to call themselves) were spotted in the front row of the Billboard Music Awards 2019 in May, cheering on and singing loudly as the 'Jonas Brothers' performed their latest single 'Sucker'.

In an epic turn of events, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner pulled off the ultimate secret wedding when they got married in Las Vegas later that night after the Billboard Music Awards. Their fans were stunned when DJ Diplo posted a video on his Instagram story featuring Joe and Sophie at the chapel and captioned it: ''Gonna hit this wedding real quick''.

Since she did not get to throw a bachelorette the first time, Sophie decied to throw one in June before she ties the knot with Joe Jonas again. The epic party was hosted in Spain and was attended by Sophie's closest friends, including 'Game of Thrones' co-star Maisie Williams.

Even though their official wedding date has not been released yet, Sophie and Joe sparked wedding rumours on Monday when they posted a similar picture, of them leaning in to kiss with the Eiffel tower in the background. A day later, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were also spotted in France attending a yacht party hosted by the bride and groom.

As the lovely couple gears up for their wedding, they hosted a pre-wedding party in Provence, France on Friday. The duo was joined by Joe's brother Nick and Kevin, and their wives Priyanka and Danielle. Sophie looked beautiful in a white silk gown. Here's wishing the couple a very happy married life!
