Pakistan Day (March 23) marks the adoption of the Lahore Resolution. It was on this day in 1940 that the Muslim leadership of the subcontinent resolved to create a separate homeland for the community in South Asia.

Pakistanis celebrated their National Day with a military parade in the capital, Islamabad, showcasing short- and long-range missiles, tanks, jets, drones and other hardware.
