MTV Movie and TV Awards 2022: JLo, Olivia Rodrigo & more stars slay on the red carpet

The 2022 MTV Awards, the biggest Hollywood night for winning the highly coveted golden popcorn awards, celebrated fans’ favourite shows, stars, and films with all the pomp and glamour.

Jennifer Lopez, as usual, stunned everyone with her style as she was dressed in a leather top with a plunging neckline and paired with a sleek black floor-length skirt. Her ensembles were from Monot’s fall/winter 2022 collection. 

JLo’s jewellery was from Candy Ice, and she carried a tiny bag from Jimmy Choo and shoes from her collaboration with DSW.
 

The host of the 2002 MTV Movie & TV Awards, Vanessa Hudgens, brought royalty to the night with her blue mini dress from Vera Wang Haute and platform heels. 
 

Sofia Carson yet again proved that she is the queen of the red carpet as she looked like a goddess in a long striped pleated dress featuring voluminous sleeves from Iris van Herpen’s Fall 2017 haute-couture collection. She kept her hair styled in a deep side bang. The singer-actor rounded off the look with winged eyeliner and tanzanite and diamond studs by Marli New York.
 

Olivia Rodrigo nailed the red carpet fashion at the 2022 MTV Awards with a stunning black corset dress by Jean-Paul Gautier that featured a crisscross halter and a zipper on the bodice. She accessorised her look with silver earrings and rings.

Olivia completed the look with a pair of black strappy heels and her hair was done in funky 'space buns'. She won the trophy for best music documentary for Driving Home 2 U.
 

The 41-year-old socialite sizzled the red carpet in a figure-hugging Tiffany blue maxi gown decorated with Swarovski crystals and featuring a high slit on the leg, designed by Irena Soprano. Paris accessorised her look with a chunky diamond necklace and emerald drop earrings. Her makeup was delicate bronze eyes, dramatic eyelashes, and pink lipstick. She completed the look with chic pointed-toe sky blue heels.
 

The 63-year-old American socialite and TV personality, Kathy Hilton, arrived with her daughter, Paris Hilton, in chic style.

Kathy went for a trendy crystal bedazzled black blazer that had the phrase "I want more Rock n' Roll" written on it in front. She rounded off the look with her hair open, mascara-laden lashes, hoop earrings and some funky fashion necklaces. She teamed the look with black bell-bottom pants and carried a silver bag by Valentino. 
 

American actor Kyle Richards, in an all-black outfit, made a stylish appearance on the MTV Awards 2022 red carpet. She wore a black corset off-shoulder top with a low-cut neckline and paired it with wide-leg pants and a blazer on her shoulder. Her crystal Gucci belt added bling to her outfit. Richards kept her makeup minimal and went for a nude lip shade. The actress completed her look with statement earrings and hair kept open in soft waves. 

Powell made a smashing appearance on the MTV Awards 2022 red carpet in a V-neck white shirt. He paired it with a grey suit jacket, pants, and shoes and completed the look with complementary shades. The ivory linen suit is by Canali.
 

The 'Selling Sunset' star picked an all-black outfit for the night. The actress stunned in a busty bralette top teamed with high-waisted trousers. The trousers featured a sheer panel on the sides, showing her thong string. She completed the look with a silver handbag and strappy high heels. For makeup, she kept it minimal, and her hair was set loose in waves.
