The second biggest data leak after Panama Papers revealed names of prominent Indians from corporate, film and political world

Big B under the radar

Earlier reports revealed Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan's name in connection with the Panama Papers in 2015. His name has again surfaced in relation to the current leak.

In his latest blog post, Amitabh has written: "let the process take over .. discover, question, remark, assess and take action .. as duty-bound citizens we shall obey .."

And concluded his post with: "BUT in conclusion : At this age and time of my life I seek peace and freedom from prominence .. to be left to lead the last few years of my life with and within myself .. I do not seek epithets, I abhor them .. I do not seek headlines, I do not deserve them .. I do not seek acknowledgement, I am not qualified for it"

Mallya in trouble, again

Paradise papers also revealed Vijay Mallya sold his company United Spirits Limited India to Diageo.

The documents revealed that, close to $1.5 billion of USL Holdings? loans, which were funnelled into four subsidiary companies in the form of debt, were waived off by Diageo.

Spotlight on Manyata Dutt

The Paradise Papers have also revealed the business dealings of Manyata whose real name is Dilnashin, the wife of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt.

Documents in the Bahamas registry show that Nasjay Company Limited was set up in the Bahamas, and Dilnashin Sanjay Dutt was appointed its Director, Managing Director, President and Treasurer in April 2010.

Her signature was there on the documents and her address appears as Bandra West, Mumbai. The 2010 capital of the company is shown as $ 5,000.

The Sun is under cloud of suspicion

Sun Group, founded by Nand Lal Khemka, figures as Appleby?s second-largest client internationally, with as many as 118 different offshore entities and have assets in the US, Russia and India.

Names of many Indian companies are also there on the list, such as United Spirits Limited and GMR Group.

Rajya Sabha MP Ravindra Kishore Sinha's private security firm Security and Intelligence Services, which went public earlier this year, has been mentioned in the papers.

YSR Congress

The documents have revealed fresh financial links to YSR Congress Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

He was earlier in trouble in connection with disproportionate assets.
