Isha Ambani's wedding: Politicians, sportsmen & film stars gather under one roof

As Mukesh Ambani's daughter Isha tied the knot with Anand Piramal in Mumbai on Wednesday, the high and mighty from the world of politics, sports and cinema gathered under one roof to wish the couple. 

The marriage brings together two of India`s most influential families. The bride, Isha Ambani, 27, is the head of the vast Reliance conglomerate whose net worth Forbes put at $43 billion.Her groom, Anand Piramal, 33, is heir to a real-estate and pharmaceutical business.

Former US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton attended the wedding in Mumbai. Clinton was present at Udaipur as well where the pre-wedding festivities took place. The 27-storied Antilia, said to be one of the most expensive private residences in the world, itself has been decked up like a bride. Rekha walked in looking drop-dead-gorgeous in a red kanjeevaram, while Madhuri Dixit chose a lehenga and Vidya Balan wore an anarkali for the wedding.

Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain came with his wife. The maestro is reportedly going to be performing at the couple's wedding reception which will take place at Jio Gardens on December 14th. 

The entire stretch from the main road to the building has been decorated since the past few days with multi-hued fresh flowers, colourful lights and festoons to commemorate one of the most anticipated weddings in the country`s commercial capital in recent times.
