 | Updated: Apr 02, 2019, 03:54 PM IST

Both the teams stand at the bottom of the points table and are in desperate need for a win to get off the mark.

Sanju Samson

The Rajasthan batsman scored the first century of IPL 2019 but couldn't turn his innings into a victory for his side. The batsman had hit 102 runs in just 55 against Hyderabad to prove his mettle as a cricketer.

Though he failed to pull things off against Chennai in the last game, Samson is expected to return to form today.

AB de Villiers

Bangalore is dependent too much on skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. He is one of the most destructive batsmen among all IPL teams and is unstoppable.

The fans are waiting for his fireworks to explode. Although, against Mumbai, he smashed 70 in just 41 balls, but needs to regular performance to bring Bangalore back on track.

Jos Buttler

So far, Buttler has been the most reliable batsman for the Ajinkya Rahane-led team. He can hit boundaries, snatch games and can deplete any bowling attack.

The English batsman opened the season with a fantastic 43-ball 69 before being getting out in a controversial fashion by Punjab's R Ashwin. He is one of the most destructive batsmen provided he is given some time to adjust.

Jofra Archer

Archer is Rajasthan's best player who can deliver both with bat and ball. An unbeaten 11-ball 24 couldn’t get his side past the line in the last match against Chennai but he proved his calibre to hit.

He is also capable of firing yorkers at the death with a speed of above 140kmph.

He is expected to come out strong today also to give Bangalore their first win.
