Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the culmination of the Muslim holy month of Ramzan, is being celebrated across the country today

Eid Celebration in Iran

Ramzan is observed as the community fast from dawn to dusk seeking forgiveness from the god for the past sins.

Eid Celebration

The fasting ends on the first day of the tenth month of Islamic year which is celebrated as Eid.

The festival is celebrated by sharing a delightful dish Seviyan (Vermicelli) that comes under different varieties like Hath Ka Seviyan, Nammak Ka Seviyan, Chakle Ka Seviyan and Laddu Seviyan.
