India has ordered 15 of the Chinooks and 22 Apache attack choppers. Together, they are expected to modernise the Indian Air Force's chopper fleet.

Apache helicopter

The Chinook is a transport chopper. It is also a heavy lifter.

India has ordered 15 of them. India has also ordered 22 Apache attack choppers (pictured).   

Together, they are expected to help modernise the Indian Air Force's chopper fleet.
