BSF camel contingent
The BSF camel contingent and camel-mounted band march during the full dress rehearsal.
The BSF camel contingent and a camel-mounted band that has been the glory of Republic Day parade for past 44 years will perform this year too.
Around 100 camels from Rajasthan have reached Delhi. The camels are made to practice for 40 minutes daily.

Gorkha Rifles regiment
The Gorkha units are some of the most decorated in the Army. They have played an important role in all the wars and have won Battle Honours in Uri sector in 1947-48, Ladakh in 1962, Jammu and Kashmir in 1965 and 1971.
They were also a part of the Indian Peace Keeping Force(IPKF) in Sri Lanka.

Infantry Fighting Vehicles
An infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), also known as a mechanized infantry combat vehicle (MICV) is a type of armoured fighting vehicle used to carry infantry into battle and provide direct-fire support.
IFVs are designed to be more mobile than tanks and are equipped with a rapid-firing autocannon or a large conventional gun; they may include side ports for infantrymen to fire their personal weapons while on board.
