Magnificent display of devotion at Kumbh Mela as country celebrates Basant Panchami

Basant Panchami heralds the arrival of the spring season and marks the start of the preparation for the festival of Holi which occurs 40 days later.

While India celebrates the spring festival today, Prayagraj's ongoing mega Mela - Kumbh 2019 - saw millions of devotees, saints and ascetics take a holy dip at Triveni Sangam.

Here's taking a look at Basant Panchami celebrations at Kumbh 2019 in Uttar Pradesh's holy city, Prayagraj.
