Moon Jae-in and his North Korean counterpart Kim Jong-Un held a historic meeting earlier today, the first-ever summit between both the nations in more than a decade.

The message
Kim stopped to sign a guest book in the South's Peace House before the two leaders met for a private discussion.
After entering the Peace House for the inter-Korean summit, Kim Jong Un wrote in the guest book "A new history starts now. An age of peace, from the starting point of history," Kim dated and signed the entry.

'Peace' talks at the Peace House
The two leaders met for a private discussion at the Peace House. Moon and Kim talked over a range of issues including denuclearisation and exchanges between the Koreas. They are expected to plant a memorial tree at the border truce village of Panmunjom later in the day.

The bonhomie
Kim and Moon were all smiles and niceties when they met ahead of the summit earlier today. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in were spotted holding hands at the heavily fortified demilitarised zone between the countries on Friday.
