A perfect leader

South Africa choose to bat in the first ODI against India. 'Men in blue entered with three seamers, and three spinners.

It was again bold decision, as the pitch was suitable for the batsmen.

Virat trusted the spinners to have a stronger defence and that worked for the team.

Proving the critics wrong

Recently, Former South Africa captain Graeme Smith raised serious questions on Indian skipper Virat Kohli's leadership capabilities, saying he lacks the patience required for a leader to raise the overall level of his team.

Also, Sunil Gavaskar and Virender Sehwag raised a question on his captaincy and leadership.

But yesterday's knock was definitely an answer to all the questions.
