IIFA awards 2019: Inside photos of the spectacular ceremony

The 20th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards which was attended by scores of B-Town celebrities turned out to be a grand affair. Like every year, IIFA 2019 witnessed some powerful performances by stars like Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Sara Ali Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and Ranveer Singh.
 

Deepika Padukone wore a purple colour Gaurav Gupta gown for the occasion which had a long trail. Doting husband Ranveer Singh was seen holding trail and helping her settle down giving all of us major husband goals. 

Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit Nene who is known for her dancing skills paid a tribute to legendary choreographer Saroj Khan at the 20th edition of IIFA Awards. She danced to some of her biggest hit songs choreographed by Saroj Khan at the ceremony. Khan was later awarded with Lifetime achievement award. 
 

Ayushmann Khurrana, along with his brother Aparshakti, hosted the IIFA Awards ceremony this year.
 

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to legendary actor Jagdeep who was accompanied on stage by his son Javed Jaffery and grandson Meezan. 

Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana, Ishan Khattar and Shahid Kapoor do an impromptu jig on stage. Ishaan won the trophy for the Best Debut actor. The award was presented by his half brother, actor Shahid Kapoor.

Salman Khan set the stage on fire with his super-energetic performance on some of his iconic songs like 'Swag Se Swagat' and 'Jag Ghoomeya'.  

Dressed up in a shimmery golden lehenga, Katrina Kaif grooved on some of her chartbusters like 'Surraiya', 'Manzoor-E-Khuda' and 'Aithey Aa'. Her magical performance drew loud cheers from the audience. 

IIFA 2019 , the big night started with a power-packed from  Ranveer Singh himself. The actor commenced his act with a rap song from 'Gully Boy' and he made an entry on stage from the audience arena. Upon taking over the stage, Ranveer performed to the much-dynamic song 'Khalibali' from 'Padmaavat'

This was Sara Ali Khan's first IIFA Award event as an actress. Sara received the Best Female Debutant Actress Award for her film 'Kedarnath'.and won the hearts with her stage performance. 

Vicky Kaushal started the year 2019 with josh. 'URI' actor enthralled the audience with his energetic performance. He even took home the Best Supporting Actor award for 'Sanju'. 

Two of the biggest names of Bollywood- Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh-  shared the stage last night much to the delight of their fans. 

Host Ayushmann Khurrana's dance made Alia Bhatt and Rekha crack up. Alia won best female actor for 'Raazi' on Wednesday night.
