MS Dhoni turns 36 today, the former Indian world cup winning captain has had a chequered career and fans wish he can go on forever but all good things come to an end. We take a look at Dhoni's career beyond cricket because one day he will retire and we will miss his presence and most of all his brilliant 'helicopter' shot!

Dhoni the Bollywood Star

Did you know Dhoni has acted in a Bollywood movie "Hook ya Crook" directed by David Dhawan, sadly the movie was never released but we wonder with his long hair and dreamy eyes, SRK & Co would have felt the jitters but then he became a cricket superstar!

Dhoni is a big fan of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and singer Lata Mangeshkar.

Railway minister MS Dhoni

Dhoni was a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) at Kharagpur railway station from 2001 to 2003 but left it for his first love - cricket.

Dhoni had played a few matches for the Railways but graduated to the next level to play for India. We shudder to think Dhoni playing for lower leagues with the Railways.

Mr. Perfectionist Dhoni would have made a perfect Railway minister, he would have probably been the man to turn around India's ailing railway network.

Is Mr Suresh Prabhu listening?

Dhoni the Armyman

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was given the honorary title of Lt Col by the Army in November 2011.

"Once my cricket career is over, I would definitely like to serve in the Army,? Dhoni had once said.

Dhoni would have definitely excelled in his role as a general on India's war front.

Dhoni - The CEO

MS Dhoni's father apparently wanted him to do an MBA, considering his leadership skills the former Indian World Cup captain would surely have made a great CEO. Is Mr Ratan Tata still interested?

Dhoni the Football Player

The 15-year-old Dhoni wanted to become a football player but destiny had other ideas in store for him. He was even selected to play for Jharkhand district and club football. He was an effective goalkeeper in the football team.

Dhoni's super wicketkeeping skills are no doubt as a result of his goalkeeping skills.
