'No One Killed Jessica'

'No One Killed Jessica' is a 2011 Indian biographical thriller film starring Rani Mukerji.

This film is based on the Jessica Lal murder case. It generated positive critical reviews and enjoyed a successful outing at the box office.

'No One Killed Jessica' received four nominations at the 57th Filmfare Awards, it won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for Rani Mukerji's performance.

'Mardanni'

'Mardaani' is a 2014 Indian crime thriller film that deals with the problem of human trafficking in India which is a very sensitive issue in our Indian society. It is directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Aditya Chopra.

The film stars Rani Mukerji in the lead role, with Jisshu Sengupta and Tahir Raj Bhasin appearing in supporting roles.

The film tells the story of a policewoman whose interest in the case of a kidnapped teenage girl leads her to uncover secrets of human trafficking by the Indian mafia.

'Saathiya'

'Saathiya' is a 2002 Indian Hindi romantic drama film directed by Shaad Ali and produced by Mani Ratnam and Yash Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films.

The film stars Rani Mukerji opposite Vivek Oberoi in lead roles. The soundtrack was composed by A. R. Rahman.

It is a remake of the Tamil film 'Alaipayuthey', which was directed by Ratnam and also had its music composed by Rahman as well. The film was released on 20 December 2002.

'Hum Tum'

'Hum Tum' is a 2004 Indian romantic comedy film directed by Kunal Kohli and produced by Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra under their Yash Raj Films banner.

The movie stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles.The comic characters Hum and Tum have their own animated sequences in the movie.

The film was generally received well by critics,and special praise went to Khan's and Mukerji's performances. It won several Filmfare Awards, including Best Actress for Rani Mukerji.

'Talaash'

It's a psychological horror film co-written and directed by Reema Kagti. It is produced by Excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan Productions.

The movie stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji in lead roles. The movie received a UA certificate from the Censor Board of India.

'Talaash' had worldwide earnings of over ₹1.74 billion, becoming one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2012.

'Paheli'

'Paheli' is a Bollywood fantasy film released in India on 24 June 2005.It was directed by Amol Palekar.

The film is based on a short story written by Vijayadan Detha in Rajasthani language and tells the story of a wife (Rani Mukerji) who is left by her husband (Shah Rukh Khan) and visited by a ghost, disguised as her husband, who is in love with her and takes her husband's place.

'Paheli' was India's official entry to the 2006 Oscars.

'Bunty aur Babli'

The film is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language crime-comedy film directed by Shaad Ali and starring Rani Mukerji and Abhishek Bachchan.

It was the first film to feature Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan together, and featured guest appearances by Aishwarya Rai and Tania Zaetta.

It was one of the biggest hits of the year. Each of the adventures of Bunty and Babli are Indianised, like the fake selling of the Taj Mahal which is ot of nowhere but it made it possible in Bollywood movie.. It draws comparisons to the American classic 'Bonnie and Clyde'.

'Yuva'

'Yuva', originally titled 'Howrah Bridge', is a 2004 Indian political drama film directed by Mani Ratnam and released in 2004. The film was simultaneously shot in Tamil as Aaytha Ezhuthu and in Hindi.

It focuses on the students who enter into politics into their college years and what all problems are faced by them. The film tells the stories of three young men from completely different backgrounds of the society and how one fateful incident on Kolkata's Howrah Bridge changes their lives forever.

'Black'

'Black' is a 2005 Indian drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali starring Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan.

Black revolves around a deaf blind girl, and her relationship with her teacher who himself later on develops Alzheimer's disease. Black was a commercial success, becoming the second highest grossing Indian film worldwide in 2005.

The film was screened at the Casablanca Film Festival and the International Film Festival of India. It won the Filmfare Award for best film. The movie was positioned at number five in Time Magazine(Europe).

Rani Mukerji won her second Filmfare Award for Best Actress.The film draws inspiration from Helen Keller's life and struggle. Till date, it has been her best movie ever.
