Golden Globe Awards 2021: Margot Robbie to Elle Fanning, celebrities shine on the red carpet

The 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards kicked off in full swing on Sunday night from . The annual award ceremony which was held in the COVID-19 era had a mix of virtual and a live red carpet. Some stars walked the red carpet at Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, while some showed their fashion game virtually. 

Here's a look at some awe-inspiring styles from the night.

Elle Fanning slew on the virtual red carpet in her teal gown by Gucci with some Fred Leighton jewels. She tied her hair in a sleek bun. 

Maya Rudolph arrived at the Beverly Hilton in the floral Valentino dress with Jimmy Choo square-toed sandals and Anna Kori jewels. 

Kaley Cuoco donned a glitzy strapless dress by Oscar de la Renta and made her fashion more appealing with  Harry Winston jewels and Stuart Weitzman shoes. 

'Schitt's creek' star Dan Levy virtually attended the show. Styled by Erica Cloud, Levy was wearing Valentino's Spring 2021 couture collection yellow suit. He paired it with a sparkling turtleneck sweater and silver shoes

Margot Robbie dazzled the red carpet in a black and white high slit maxi dress by Chanel at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. She kept her look elegant with some soft curls and accessorized her look with a Chanel velvet bag. 

Regina king shined in the black and silver sequin dress by Louis Vuitton. King, who is nominated in the Best Director, Motion Picture category this year for her film 'One Night In Miami', was one of the standouts looks. Her dress took 350 hours to complete, the embroidery contains black, golden and silver sequins, as well as crystals. As per the reports, King was wearing approximately $2 million diamonds

Amanda Seyfried was looking striking in her pink dress by Oscar de la Renta, the first time Golden Globe nominee fabric floral neckline is the best part of the dress -starting at the sleeves and trailing all around the back of the dress. 

Sofia Carson was among the best-dressed celebs. The actress look elegant in Giambattista Valli rose and maroon gown, which featured a bow on one shoulder and a long cape. 

'The United States vs. Billie Holiday' star Andra Day wore a Chanel haute couture gown with a fine jewelry

Tiffany Haddish slew the red in her metallic Alberta Ferretti dress. Meanwhile, Salma Hayek kept it simple in a cherry-red, one-sleeve gown. 

On the men side, Leslie Odom Jr. was a standout. The actor who attended the mega event from his home wore a dull pink suit from the spring 2021 Valentino couture collection. He accessorized his look with an Octo Roma watch and B.zero1 Roma 4-band ring from Bulgari.

This year presenter, Cynthia Erivo graced the red carpet in a neon green sleeveless dress from Valentino couture. To emphasize her look, Erivo opted a leather opera gloves and metallic platform shoes. 

 Anya Taylor-Joy earned her first Golden Globe for the chess drama 'The Queen's Gambit'. The actor dazzled in a sparkling emerald green Dior dress with a dramatic neckline and a long cape.
