Sonam Kapoor donated an undisclosed amount to government of Maharastra in the fight against COVID-19.

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor and his sister Anshula have tested positive for Covid-19. The sibling's cousin, producer Rhea Kapoor and her husband, filmmaker Karan Boolani too have contracted the virus. 

Arjun, Anshula, Rhea and Karan are presently in isolation in their respective homes and are following all the precautions under the guidance of doctors. 

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has announced that he would be providing ration of 1,00,000 daily wage earners of the film fraternity. Bachchan has joined hands with Sony Pictures Networks India and Kalyan Jewellers for this initiative.
