People across India celebrate Holi—the festival of colours—on Friday after two years of muted celebrations due to Covid.

As cases began to dip, thousands of people gathered in the streets to mark the Hindu festival with much fervour. This year, Holi celebrations took place without major COVID-19 restrictions in India.
