After Boris Johnson whines about his low salary, here is how much world leaders earn

After reports claimed that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is mulling resignation after six months due to his "low salary", here is how much other world leaders earn on an annual basis:

Ireland's Taoiseach Leo Varadkar earns approximately $234,447, which is more than four and a half times the average wage of Irish citizens.

Swedish Prime Minister and Social Democratic Party leader Stefan Lofven earns $244,615 on an annual basis.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau earns $267,041 per year.

In Canada, the prime minister's compensation includes the Member of the House of Commons Basic Sessional Indemnity, the prime minister's salary, and the prime minister car allowance.

President of the Republic of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa earns $273,470 annually, which is more than 25 times the average wage in South Africa.

Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel earns $278,035 per year. If his base pay were to be distributed to Luxembourg's 596,992 citizens, each would receive 48 cents.

Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz earns $328,584 per year which is more than six times the average wage of Austrian citizens.
