Ajinkya Rahane had yet another excellent outing hitting 60 runs in 91 balls(7 boundaries) and former skipper MS Dhoni held the innings with a solid 54(1 four) in 114 balls but it was clearly not enough as India failed to outplay West Indies.

Indian bowlers succeed but batsmen fail

Earlier, pacers Umesh Yadav and Hardik Pandya claimed three wickets each and Kuldeep Yadav picked up 2 wickets in his 10-over spell giving away just 31 runs to restrict West Indies to 189/9 in 50 overs.

The effort by the bowlers was clearly not enough as Indian batsmen failed to rise to the occassion.

'Shot selection wasn't up to mark'

Captain Holder after winning the man of the match award said, "At the halfway stage there were a few heads dropping in the dressing room but it took a big effort and I'm really pleased to play a part in keeping us in the series."

"Our shot selection wasn't up to mark but credit to the West Indies bowlers for the pressure they put on us to force those mistakes," said Kohli after losing the 4th ODI.
