<p>Nepal is close to crossing the 100 mark for positive coronavirus cases as the total has increased to 99.</p>

<p>The number increased after a total of 17 cases were reported in the past 24 hours. This is the highest spike in the number of positive cases in a day for&nbsp;Nepal, according to the Health Ministry.</p>

<p>Out of 99 cases, 22 patients have recovered and have been discharged. Nepal hasn't reported any coronavirus-related death, till now.</p>

<p>In the last couple of days, 16 cases were registered in a day, out of which, 15 were already quarantined as they had been in contact with a person who had attended the Tablighi Jamaat in March.</p>

<p>These 15 people,&nbsp;eight men and seven women, belong to the western region of Nepal and are under treatment now.</p>
