Rupani's comments have come days after Uttar Pradesh government led by chief minister Yogi Adityanath renamed Allahabad to Prayagraj.

While addressing a gathering in Ayodhya on the occasion of Deepotsav on Tuesday, Adityanath also hinted on changing the name of Faizabad to Ayodhya district.

Ayodhya will have its own airport named after Ram and a medical college after king Dashrath, Adityanath said.
