The highly controversial movie Padmaavat released Thursday under heavy security, however, the members of the Karni Sena continued to engage in non-violent protests.

Amidst the violent protest, the president of the Kshatriya community took a verbal attack on Deepika Padukone.

Kshatriya Mahasabha President Gajendra Singh said to award Rs 1 crore to someone who would chop off Deepika Padukone's ears and nose.

He said " Kshatriya community will contribute and give the person a reward of Rs 1 Crore who chops off Deepika Padukone's ears and nose".

On the day of the release protesters flaunted swords, burnt tyres, staged bike rally to show their disapproval for the movie release.

Padmaavat was a no-show in four states. Cinema hall owners in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa have refused to screen the movie saying they fear violence.
