Minister of State for Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Jitendra Singh has questioned the Congress over their frequent allegations of EVM tempering.

He asked why the Congress did not object to EVMs when they were winning elections back to back.

He further said that despite losing the deposits of its candidate the Congress party was celebrating the loss of BJP in UP.

He said, "Congress and Rahul Gandhi have lost the plot. Why didn't they object to EVM when they were winning elections back to back? Their mindset is evident from the fact that they're celebrating UP result because BJP didn't win. Their own candidates lost their deposit there".

The Congress and the opposition have time and again blamed the BJP of EVM tempering.

Speaking on the ceasefire violation along the Line of Control in Balakote sector, in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district he said that the security forces were retaliating and assured that an appropriate action will be taken.
