A day after BJP general secretary Ram Madhav attacked Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu and said Naidu should first save his seat in state before thinking about saving the country, Andhra Pradesh finance minister Yanamala Rama Krishnudu hit back and said that there was no bigger anaconda than Modi who swallowed all the institutions including the CBI.

''Who can be a bigger anaconda than Narendra Modi? Modi is the anaconda that has swallowed all the institutions. He is swallowing up institutions like CBI, RBI etcetera,'' Krishnudu was quoted as saying on Sunday.

Krishnudu said TDP was not established to oppose any single party. The party was founded against the system, he said.

''Every Tom, Dick and Harry is speaking of past politics. Past can't be present or future. But present and future will become past. The critics of TDP should understand this. TDP was not established against any single party. It was founded against the system,''  Krishnudu further said.

Ram Madhav on Saturday attacked TDP and said Andhra Pradesh government is unpopular and corrupt.

The TDP will surely lose upcoming 2019 elections," he reportedly told ANI.

Naidu quit the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance in March after a prolonged dispute over government`s refusal to grant "special category" status to Andhra Pradesh.
