What to expect from 2018 Uttarakhand budget

Uttarakhand Finance Minister Prakash Pant is all set to present the budget for the upcoming fiscal year in the House on  March 22. 

All administrative preparations have been completed for the big day.

Pant will present the income-wage at four o'clock in the evening. During this time he will also read the budget speech. 

During this budget, the Uttrakhand government may decide to give free electricity connections to 40 million poor houses by 2022, with an aim at providing the home to every poor. 

The Uttrakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat earlier tweeted on his official Twitter account, that they have set a clear roadmap and vision of the people to provide better health facilities, improve quality of education, develop infrastructure and increase the income of the farmers, is visible in the New India budget.

Rawat also highlighted  that there are many announcements in FY19 budget, which are being initiated in Uttarakhand. The budget has been discussed to promote cluster-based farming, organic farming, and cultivation of plantation plants. 

The Uttrakhand CM has inaugurated Chauras bridge over Alaknanda ji on March 19, at Shrinagar while en route Gairsain for the budget session of Uttarakhand legislative assembly.

For the first time, the budget session of the State Legislative Assembly is being organized in Gairsain. In the winter session held in Gairsain in December last, the government had come here with a supplementary budget. The program of the House from 20 to 24 March has been decided by the Working Group.
