'Not denying association with SCL, Cambridge Analytica,' says OBI vice president Himanshu Sharma
Vice President of Indian business intelligence firm Ovelino Business Intelligence (OBI), Himanshu Sharma on Wednesday accepted its association with Cambridge Analytica while at the same time he also added that "we believe in ethics and legal system of India."

He also said that "we are a ground research company closely working with various media houses and not undertake any project with Cambridge Analytica related to social media (specially Facebook)."

OBI came under fire over the alleged links with Facebook data breach issue with Cambridge Analytica, a data mining firm who is accused of obtaining Facebook users' data of with illegal measures.
Cambridge Analytica and its parent company Strategic Communications Laboratories (SCL) has allegedly worked in over two hundred elections across the world in countries like India and Argentina, Nigeria among others.
In India, Ovleno Business Intelligence has the Congress, the BJP and the JDU as its political clients. The firm is reportedly headed by Amrish Tyagi, son of senior Janata Dal leader KC Tyagi.
