Pakistan troops today opened fire in several points along the line of control(LoC) in R S Pura, Arnia and Samba sectors in J&K.

Two civilians - a woman and a child were killed and at least four others were injured in the R S Pura firing.    

WION reporters said Pakistan troops were targeting 50 villages along the border including two dozen BSF posts.

On Wednesday night, a BSF soldier was killed after Pakistan troops opened fire at RS Pura sector. Three civilians were also injured as the firing by Pakistan troops hit an Indian village along the border. Indian border guards retaliated as the firing continued till early on Thursday morning.

A Suresh, a soldier belonging to 78 BN BSF security force was killed in the firing at RS Pura.
