<p>Two terrorists were killed in Nawakadal encounter that began on the intervening night of 18-19 May, according to Jammu and Kashmir police.</p>

<p>The slain terrorists belong to Hizbul Mujahideen, the police added.</p>

<p>The operation was launched on a credible police input last night.&nbsp; Some exchange of fire took place during the night during which one Police SOG personnel was injured.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Firing resumed during a search in the morning, tweeted Jammu and Kashmir police earlier in the day.&nbsp;</p>
