2 JD(S) MLAs 'hijacked' by our BJP friends, says HD Kumaraswamy
Congress-JD(S) chief ministerial candidate HD Kumaraswamy on Friday accused the BJP of ''hijacking'' two of his MLAs.
Two JD(S) MLAs have disappeared from JD(S) camp just a day ahead of the floor test that would decide the fate of BS Yeddyurappa.
''Two MLAs have been hijacked by our BJP friends. But, I am certain that they will come back to us,'' said HD Kumaraswamy of JD (S) addressing a press conference.
''JD(S) & Congress have jointly given the list of 118 MLAs to Governor. We've sufficient strength to form the government in Karnataka. This morning Supreme Court has given judgement on Governor's decision. For past 2 days, BJP is trying to by the MLAs of the opposition,'' he added.
Meanwhile, Siddaramaiah was elected as the leader of the Congress Legislature Party at a meeting of party MLAs held in Hyderabad.
