Three civilians killed in terrorist attack in J&K's Baramulla

Three civilians were killed in an attack by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district on Monday evening.

The attack has come on a day when a top Hizbul commander, Sameer Tiger, and his associate Aquib were killed by security forces in an encounter. 

Earlier in the day, two terrorists were gunned down during an encounter with the security forces at Jammu and Kashmir's Drabgam in Pulwama district. 

A civilian also lost his life during clashes in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district.

Official sources said that the gunmen fired upon the three persons near Iqbal Market Khanpora. In the incident, the trio sustained serious bullet wounds and died instantly on the spot.

The Initial reports suggest that the slain has been identified as Asghar Khan, Asif and Haseeb Khan, all residents of Jamia Mohalla old Town Baramulla.
