Tamil Nadu: Pregnant woman kicked by cop falls off two-wheeler, dies
Protests took over Thiruverumbur city of Tiruchirapalli district, Tamil Nadu after a pregnant woman died by falling off a two-wheeler which was allegedly kicked by a policeman.

According to reports, the policeman tried to stop the vehicle during routine checking. The deceased woman's husband has also been injured. The Police Superintendent here reported that the inspector has already been arrested.
The deceased was travelling with her husband on Wednesday evening. The couple was near the BHEL headquarters and was asked by a police team to stop.
A cop chased them on another bike when the couple did not stop. The inspector then kicked their vehicle which wobbled and lost balance.
The pregnant woman is reported to have died on the spot. The couple was taken to the nearest government hospital where the woman was confirmed dead.
