Supreme Court restrains use of photos of minor rape victims
Expressing concerns over revealing the identity of minor rape victims by the media, the Supreme Court on Thursday put restrictions on the use of pictures and videos of such rape victims.
The court has also restrained the media from telecasting blurred or morphed images and videos of minor rape victims.

The decision came at a court hearing on Thursday where the court took a suo motu cognisance of the alleged rape of minor girls in a shelter home run by an NGO in Bihar.
The NGO was run by a 55-year-old man.
