Supreme Court Collegium recommends Justice DN Patel as next Chief Justice of Delhi High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of Justice DN Patel as the next Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court.
Rajendra Menon, the current Chief Justice of Delhi, will be retiring in next month.

The Collegium observed that nothing adverse has been found regarding their competence, conduct or integrity. It also recommended names of Justices BR Gavai and Surya Kant for the elevation.
The two resolutions of the Collegium were made public on the Supreme Court's website on Thursday.
On Wednesday, the 5-member Collegium headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi had met and deliberated on the issue of elevation of the four high court judges.
