Special envoys from Pakistan, Bangladesh among others to attend Vajpayee's funeral

Special envoys from neighbouring countries Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan would be paying their visit to India on Friday to attend the funeral of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Bhutan's King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk, Nepal's Foreign Affairs Minister PK Gyawal, Sri Lanka acting Foreign Minister Lakshman Kiriella, Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali and Pakistan Law Min Ali Zafar will arrive in Delhi today to pay tributes to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee's final journey will begin at 1 pm today with cremation at 4 pm.

The funeral procession of former Prime Minister Atal Bihar Vajpayee has reached the BJP head office on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg.

The mortal remains will be kept at BJP Headquarters in New Delhi till1 pm for final tributes. 

PM Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah, Union Ministers, CMs of BJP-ruled states and several other leaders are present at the BJP office.

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee died following a prolonged illness in New Delhi on Thursday.
