SC crisis: 'Will take to streets if matter remains unresolved,' threatens Delhi Bar Association

"If the matter isn't resolved in 7-10 days, we will call all the Bar Associations of India, hold discussions with them and take to the streets, if it comes to that, in order to make people aware," noted the officials.

The DBA officials called the incident "one of its kind". They criticised the Chief Justice of India for not looking into the matter beforehand.

Meanwhile, Bar Council of India Chairperson Manan Mishra noted that "a solution will be found" in a few days.
"We have been told that there is no crisis. It is an internal matter which will be resolved soon. I am sure a solution will be found in two-three days," Mishra said earlier today after meeting with Justice Chelameswar.
In addition to this, four retired judges, including an ex-Supreme Court judge, today wrote an open letter to the chief justice of India.
The letter described the judges' agreement with the issues raised by the four apex court judges over the allocation of cases. The retired judges called for the crisis to be resolved "within the judiciary".
Four Supreme Court judges went public about their differences with the Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra on Friday.
The Bar Council of India, on Saturday, announced the formation a 7-member delegation with an aim to reconcile the matter.
