Sachin Tendulkar's daughter's alleged stalker sent to police custody
A 32-year-old man, who was arrested from West Bengal for allegedly harassing cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar's daughter, was sent to police custody on Monday.
The Bandra metropolitan magistrate's court has sent the alleged phone stalker to custody till January 11.

The man, identified as Debkumar Maity, was arrested by a joint team of Mumbai and West Bengal Police from Mahisadal area of East Midnapore district on Sunday.
He had called at least 20 times on the ex-cricketer's landline number since January 2, and even made obscene comments about Sara Tendulkar and threatened to kidnap her.
While the Mumbai police booked him for stalking, molestation and criminal intimidation, Maity's parents claimed he was mentally unstable.
The police informed that during interrogation the man admitted to calling her and also showed them a tattoo bearing Sara’s name on his arm.
