Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar was supposed to initiate a debate in Rajya Sabha yesterday.

Eminent personalities and notable leaders condemned the fact that Tendulkar was not able to present his speech in Rajya Sabha.
"Sachin Tendulkar has earned a name for India at the world stage, it is a matter of shame that he was not allowed to speak even when everyone knew it was on the agenda," Jaya Bachchan reacted.
